Dean is currently the Group CEO of Crossfin Holdings (RF) (Pty) Ltd ("Crossfin"), a fintech investment platform he has led since its establishment in May 2017. Under his leadership, Crossfin has positioned itself as a major player in the African fintech space, driving innovation and growth in digital payment solutions. As an Independent Non-Executive Director, he also plays a key role in guiding capital allocation decisions, ensuring sustainable investments in high-growth sectors.

With over 20 years of experience, Dean has built an extensive background in investing in ICT businesses across the African continent. His career has spanned various roles, from being a pure investor to actively engaging in corporate development and holding senior leadership positions in finance. His expertise extends across both operational and corporate levels, allowing him to have a comprehensive view of business growth and strategy.

Before Crossfin, Dean was the CEO of Capital Eye Investments, where he spearheaded the strategic development of the private equity investment vehicle, with a focus on technology-dependent businesses in emerging African markets.
